Recently, the latest research achievement of Professor Zhu Ce's team from the School of Information and Communication Engineering, titled "A High-Precision, Low-Latency, and Robust Vision-Based Localization System for Embodied Intelligent Robots in Complex Environments," won the Best Demo Award at the IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME 2025) held in Nantes, France from June 30 to July 4, 2025. ICME is recognized as the flagship conference in the field of multimedia and a CCF Class-B conference. This marks the first time UESTC has received this honor at the international event.
