  • Biography

    Dr.Wenyi Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). His research interests lie in computer vision and machine learning, with recent work focusing on video and image content synthesis, quality enhancement, and adversarial examples in neural networks. His investigations emphasize the disentanglement of image texture and semantic features in deep learning frameworks and the development of interpretability methods for neural network feature perception.

    He has been granted 4 Chinese national invention patents and has authored or co-authored over 30 papers in SCI-indexed journals and CCF-A tier conferences. He has led more than 10 national and ministerial-level research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Sichuan Provincial Key Research and Development Program.

    Under his direction, his team achieved first place in the CheapFake Detection Challenge at ICME and third place in the Efficient Super-Resolution Track of the AIM 2020 Image Editing Challenge at ECCV.
