    Signal processing, artificial intelligence, and their applications in radar, communications, and medical/healthcare systems.               

  • Biography

    Qian HE has been a full Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) since 2015.  She was on the Editorial Boards of IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Journal of Radars, Signal Processing, Journal of Communications and Information Sciences, Advances in Energy and Power Engineering, and was a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Sensor Array and Multichannel technical committee, member of the IEEE SPS Promoting Diversity in Signal Processing organizing committee, and the Chair of the IEEE SPS Chengdu Chapter. She was a recipient of the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation, LiXin Tang Faculty Award for Excellent Research, UESTC Hundred Talent Program, Outstanding Young Investigator Award and Outstanding Faculty Award at UESTC.  She is a member of Sigma Xi, senior member of IEEE, senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, member of Women in Science and Technology Sichuan Association, council member of the Women in Science and Technology Quzhou Association, the Chair of the Engagement and Career Training subcommittee of the IEEE SPS Young Professionals committee, member of the SPS Signal Processing Theory and Methods technical committee, member of the IEEE SPS Technical Committee Review Committee, and a member-at-large of the IEEE SPS Board of Governors.               

  • Education Experience

    Dr. HE received her Ph.D. in signal and information processing with honor in 2010 from UESTC, China. From 2007 to 2011, she was a Visiting Scholar and Postdoctoral Research Associate with Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Lehigh University, USA.
