The team focuses on core research areas including liquid-crystal (LC) reconfigurable devices and systems, LC flexible array antennas, radar systems and signal processing, and communication integrated circuits. With more than 30 Ph.D. and Master’s students currently in the group, the team has formed a research structure that combines deep fundamental research with strong engineering application capabilities, supported by a vibrant academic atmosphere and well-established mechanisms for collaboration.
The team is currently undertaking over ten national and provincial/ministerial research projects that address both major national needs and frontier topics of the industry. To date, it has published more than 50 high-level academic papers and obtained over 20 authorized national invention patents, several of which have been successfully translated into practical technologies serving industrial applications and national strategic demands.
The team’s achievements in research and education have been recognized with multiple awards, including First Prize in provincial teaching achievement competitions and First Prize in Sichuan provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards. Relying on the “Sichuan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Intelligent Circuits and Systems of Unmanned Systems,” the team ensures efficient transformation of research outcomes and maintains stable collaborations with numerous research institutes and leading companies in the field. It has trained a large number of highly qualified professionals, many of whom are now employed by top-tier organizations such as CASIC, CETC, and Huawei.
