Radar Sensing and Imaging Technology Lab

The team includes 18 faculty members with senior professional titles (full professors) and 14 with associate senior professional titles (associate professors).

The team has long been engaged in research on new-regime radar imaging technology and target detection in complex environments, achieving key breakthroughs in several international frontier topics. It pioneered a new regime for forward-looking imaging radar, solving the international challenge of forward-looking radar imaging, with the results applied to a specific major equipment system. The team also solved the challenges of multi-wall penetration and human detection and tracking, with applications in fields such as counter-terrorism and rescue operations. The team has published 3 monographs (funded by the National Publishing Fund), authored over 400 SCI-indexed papers, and secured over 300 authorized national invention patents. It has received 6 provincial/ministerial-level awards, including the First Prize for Technological Invention from the Ministry of Education, and 2 Second-Class National Technological Invention Awards.

Students supervised by the team have received multiple honors, including the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and several Sichuan Provincial Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Awards. Three individuals have been supported by the "Boxin Program" (National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents). The team has also supplied a cohort of high-level talent to key organizations such as CETC, CASIC, and Huawei.
