The Intelligent Networks and Applications Research Lab has long been dedicated to research and teaching in fields such as intelligent network theory, network virtualization, cloud/edge computing, network AI, and Next Generation Internet architectures. The Lab consists of 14 faculty members, including an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

In recent years, the Lab has undertaken more than 30 projects, including National Key R&D Programs, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and joint enterprise innovation projects. We have published over 400 high-level SCI/EI indexed papers, applied and authorized more than 60 domestic and international patents, and led or participated in the development of multiple ITU-T international standards. The Lab demonstrates significant strengths in intelligent network architecture, intelligent network management, and high-performance network system, characterized by a balanced focus on research and teaching, as well as theoretical study and practical application.
