The team has a long-term engagement in teaching and scientific research in the field of information countermeasures. In recent years, it has undertaken multiple national and provincial/ministerial-level research projects. Main research directions include: communication/radar signal analysis and recognition, passive localization and tracking of radiation sources, array signal processing, mobile communications, and complex signal and coding analysis techniques. The team has published over 100 academic papers in domestic and international journals and conferences, such as IEEE IoT, IEEE AP, IEEE TVT, Signal Processing, IEEE SPL and Acta Electronica Sinica. They hold over 20 authorized invention patents and received a Second Prize for the Military Science and Technology Progress Award in 2018.
